It's amazing that the demons (who possessed people) were among the first to acknowledge that Jesus was the Messiah - the one for whom the Israelite nation was waiting.

The thing that sticks out the most to me from today's reading is how Jesus came to heal a broken world, and all that the religious leaders could do was nit-pick about what laws he was breaking. I hope my focus on following the "rules" doesn't get in my way of seeing the true purpose of Jesus.
